A family of five love their older home, but needed their closed off dated main floor to be an open space for living and entertaining with ease.  As well as, the parents needed a retreat like primary bedroom to escape from the day and busy children.  The main floor was opened up to help the family’s life to function better.  The kitchen, dining and living areas all now flow seamlessly into each other and creates that luxurious comfortable modern style they were looking for.
